Handley Page Victor K1 three-point tanker XA918 refuelling Avro Vulcan B2 XM648 circa 1965. Such exchanges were short-lived and the Vulcan's in-flight refuelling systems were deactivated. Some aircraft had their systems reactivated for the Falklands conflict in 1982.
