Avro Vulcan B2 XJ824 of No 230 OCU RAF Finningley (note the Yorkshire rose on the tail fin) 1964. 824 has no in-flight refuelling probe fitted as yet though the unknown Vulcan on the left does. Further along the ramp are a rare Lockheed JC-130A Hercules and a Vickers Valiant. In the background is a Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer. The location is thought to be RAF Khormaksar, Aden (now part of Yemen). 824 was allocated to No 230 OCU at the end of 1963 and remained on strength for 18 months.
