Avro
Vulcan B2 overshooting at RAF Scampton in 1975. The landing-gear is up
and the doors are about to close. This is probably a B2 of No 27 Squadron since it is not fitted with a terrain following radar. XM569, XM570, XM571 & XM573 fit the description.
This squadron flew both B2 and B2 MRR aircraft at this time but the double
ECM plates (port and starboard between the engines) identify this airframe
as a former B2 Blue Steel.
