Vulcan
B2 XL392 of No 617 Sqn at Goose Bay in March 1975. 392 was Scampton-bound
from Offutt having routed out via Gander. The hydraulic jack (bottom right)
is the nosewheel steering jack. The Vulcan had differential brakes so
it could be steered by the foot brakes though the usual method was to
'blip' the nosewheel steering button on the control column in conjunction
with using the rudder bar.
