The AEO's panels were generally split EW to the rear and electrical systems to the side. The turret selector on the right (A, B etc) is for the ILS. (Why the selector was in the rear is one of life's great mysteries.) The preset frequencies were suitable for UK military airfields but useless (as normally studded) for many civilian airfields. The new white CRT and its switching is (I think) the 18228 PWR display. The AEO's seat swiveled anticlockwise from the shown position.
