Vulcan B2 XM646, of No IX Squadron, RAF Waddington. The aircraft can be identified as 646 because it served on IX Squadron, it has 301 engines, it has a single ECM plate between the engine nacelles, it has no X-band jammer under the ECM bay, it has pairs of front Skybolt pods under the wing, and its camouflage pattern matches with other photographs taken of 646 in this period.
