Vulcans in Camera - B1A XH483 at Waddington.

Avro Vulcan B1A thought to be XH483 of the Waddington Wing at RAF Waddington. 483 was delivered as a B1 to No 617 Squadron in May 1958. In 1961, 617's aircraft were transferred to the newly-forming No 50 Squadron and in the same year, 483 was converted to B1A standard. In August 1967, 483 was flown to Manston for fire-fighting drills and was scrapped in 1977.
