Avro Vulcan B2s flying past at RAF Waddington in June 1978. #1 is XM605 of No 101 Squadron, #2 is XL427 of No IX Squadron and #3, desperately trying to get into position, is XM654 of No 50 Squadron. Meanwhile, display aircraft XM573 of No 44 (Rhodesia) Squadron remains high.
