An Avro Vulcan B2 overshoots at Manchester Ringway (now the International Airport) in August 1965. Malcolm Taylor remembers:

Vulcans would, during the course of their test flights from Woodford, check out the ILS equipment by performing an approach to Ringway when it was quiet.
