Avro Vulcan B1A XH505 of the Waddington Wing at Goose Bay in April 1964. 505 was the antepenultimate B1 being delivered to No 230 OCU in March 1959. Converted to B1A standard in 1960, 505 served with No 617 Squadron at Scampton and No 50 Squadron at Waddington before being pooled into the Waddington Wing. 505 was delivered to the fire dump at RAF Finningley in January 1968 where it perished.
