A Vulcan K2 tanker fitted with three cylindrical fuel tanks. Forward and aft cylindrical tanks were a common enough fit on the B2, being introduced in the mid-late 1960s. A requirement for a third tank at the design stage was considered unnecessary so presumably the design had to be resurrected for the tanker. The plumbing from the three booster pumps per tank was replaced with flexible hoses that exited the bomb-bay through the rear Blue Steel cut-out.
